Douglas County Kids’ Fishing Derby

The Douglas County Kids’ Fishing Derby is a FREE, volunteer-run event that’s been dedicated to getting kids hooked on fishing and spending time outdoors with their families for over 32 years.
We welcome ALL children between the ages of 3 to 12 years old to catch up to 2 rainbow trout during our 2 day long, 7 session event – traditionally held the first full weekend in June at Lampe Park in Gardnerville, Nevada.
